We are working our butts off every day to meet new people and to help them receive Christ’s gospel. I know that this is His true church, and that people really can receive His help if they ask in faith and act accordingly. I know not everyone will accept this message, which is why we never force people to do anything. We do tell them the blessings that God will give for obedience to His commands, but they must choose for themselves to try it out.
This week we had a cool experience where heeding the Lord’s promises brought blessings. One sister we have been visiting had expressed her desire to cease listening to the missionary lessons. We invited her to pray to know if our message was true, and that if it was true, she needed to follow the answer she received from God. She prayed and learned that what we had shared was true. The next time we visited, her attitude had totally changed, and she opened her heart to our message.
