Dearest friends, relations, acquaintances, former companions, etc,
This week was a great week. As in, positively exceptional.
This week my companion and I finally came up with a system we like for working in the area. We do it, and it makes both of us happy and less stressed.
We worked real hard to find people, walking distances others have called “exceedingly far” to go to people’s homes.
We had exchanges on Thursday. On that day, I went to Pagudpud and had a good time hanging out with Elder Powell, doing missionary work.
(Credit to Elder Powell for having a camera)
We also had a good time on Friday, and I finally received my belated package from home, which got lost accidentally.
On Saturday, we got to eat wild chicken, which I promise tastes better than domestic chicken.
This week my favorite person we taught was a young man named Nico. Nico is an electrician, and he was open to the message of the gospel. He is currently not an active member of any church, so here’s fingers crossed 🤞that he goes to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Love you all so much,
Elder Tripp
