Friends and family,
This email is going to be short, as not a lot of stuff happened, and I have no pictures sorry sorry.
This week we New Year partied. The Filipinos enjoy New Year’s more than any other holiday, so the celebrations were large with many fireworks.
Afterwards, I went to Laoag on exchanges with our zone leader Elder Orozco. He’s another American elder from Utah. It was lots of fun, and we got to eat at McDonalds for old times sake.
This past couple days have been a lot of grasping at straws for people to teach. We were able to recontact one woman, Eliza, who was very religious, and she was super excited to hear our message. As she honestly considers our message, we hope she will want to take further action to get closer to Christ.
It’s weird to think that I’m two-thirds done with my mission, but I know I will see you all again later this year. Until then,
