Week 50 - Half of a Hundred

Hello! I’m somewhere new now!

In bright, beautiful Dingras, Ilocos Norte!

I’m a bit further than I thought from the city of Laoag, the big city in the mission.

It feels a lot like my first area, but there are many differences.

For the second time in my mission, I have kabahays (“house mates”), who are also the zone leaders. Yikes!

My area does have the 7-11 though, so more 7-11 adventures to come! I hope I don’t ubos all my pera.

We’re working with all sorts of fun people. Some go to church every week in their own churches; others barely know anything about church. One even came to Jesus Christ’s church on Sunday! 🎉🎉

I got some pictures of a few of the first members I met in Dingras. I also got to go visit Cali. It’s very beautiful there.

I snagged some pictures of our apartment. It’s the most sophisticated apartment I’ve ever been in with not only a stove, but also a microwave, a toaster, a rice cooker, a shower head, a refrigerator, and a couch! Life is good in the Dingras apartment, but I can’t spend too much time there. It’s much better to be outside.

My new companion is Elder Tuyak, from Butuan City. He’s cool and good at many things like drawing and dancing and singing and making friends and smiling and cooking and…

I hope this week was a good for all of you. It certainly was for me.

I send all of you my love and prayers.
