Good news! We had some baptisms! The opportunity to teach this kids and play a crucial role in their spiritual development was a blessing for us. The best experience was for Lance. He started out very shy, not even willing to give Yes or No answers to us. Finally, things came to a peak of stress for him, and he actually went to his room to cry. His father went and talked to him for a few minutes to try and cheer him up. Then my companion asked if we could teach him inside his room, so my companion cheered up Lance while I prayed silently for help. Finally Lance opened up to us, and he was able to pass his baptismal interview.
Great news! We ate lizard! It was delicious.
Bad news! My companion is leaving me. I’ll only be very, very, very sad about this.
Happy news! Sister Beverly is coming to church every week! She also is participating in activities with other YSA!
Glad news! There are a bunch of puppies in our yard!!
