This week, we had a Tropical Storm. It was very, very wet. I’m still wet. We even went outside. My umbrella got destroyed.
We also ate a pineapple. It was fresh and delicious.
We’ve been meeting a great many new people. I also had exchanges with Elder Labuson on Wednesday, so Elder Denton went ♫To the coast of Santa Ana♫ and I was left all alone to fend for the area. I had to eat almost a whole watermelon by myself.
This week we saw Sister Beverly continue to progress. She’s great in lessons, always asking questions and really understanding scriptures. She even pays attention in church. I am so happy she’s going to get baptized.
We also saw Sister Marian come to church again. This is her third time coming to church, but the first was a long time ago. I don’t know if she’ll continue to progress, but I know she enjoys coming to church.
We also met a couple, Sister Aloha and Brother Leonard Jr. They were surprised, because we met them in an area close to the highway, but then we walked to their actual home in a far area. It was not nearly as far as they implied, so we were able to teach them. They said they’d read the Book of Mormon, so we’ll see what happens.

In last weeks message, the “Makataktakkiak” means “I’m able to poop now.” or “I’m pooping now! (by accident)”
Now that we’ve all learned something,
Until next week,
Elder Tripp
