Week 37

This week things continue to trundle on as usual in Baua. We continue to face to same problems but at least it’s okay.

Today is transfer day, so in the coming week we’re going to see some new faces, but Elder Miñosa and I are staying together, probably until he goes home in August. Woot woot!

Missionary work continues to be the focus of everyday, rising at 6:30 just to get everything done. Our worst day for work this week was Saturday because we spent seven hours traveling to and from Aparri for the last of my rabies injections.

We continue to meet a lot of people on the street or in public transportation who agree to meet with us if we go to their house. It’s honestly surprisingly easy to get anyone to say yes, but only time will tell if they will actually open their hearts to us.

I’m trying to smile more and more realistically. I’m also going to try to talk to even more random people this week, so that we can meet even more people.

Love you all,

Elder Tripp
