Hello, my friends and family.
This week, we went and I met the members in Baua. After bidding farewell to a few choice friends in my last area, I left on a 10+ hour trip to Baua, Cagayan.
I basically went to the 2nd furthest away area to my last area, so it’s really different here and
a lot more humid.

My house here is smaller, but it is still quite nice.
The members here are really helpful, and we’ve been able to have a lot of fellowshippers.
On Good Friday, it was a holiday, so we went to the beach with some members. We ate food and had a chill time at the beach.
On Saturday, we went and invited a bunch of less actives to church, and to our surprise, on Sunday they all came, so we had above average sacrament attendance for the branch.
On Sunday, we worked hard and slept hard.
This morning, we had a zone activity, where we got to meet all the people in our zone.

It was good fun, as well.
Until next time.

Additional info from mom: We spoke with Zephram on Sunday night (our time) and learned that on his long bus ride to Baua, he had to stand for the first few hours. Since we got to see him on Hangouts, I will also attest that he looked hot and sweaty. His poor, dry, New Mexico skin probably has no idea what to do with all that humidity. I don’t recall his new companion’s name, but he is a Filipino native. His new house is right next to the church building. It was built by a member of the Branch Presidency, since the missionaries used to live in a house without running water.
