Week 29 - Everything is Feeling Fine

Hi everybody!!

I’m still alive and stuff. This week was cool and fun, but I forgot to take any pictures. I’ll definitely remember this week. Sorry po.

On Tuesday, we had the final district meeting with our district leader Elder Nagarathnam. He’s going back to his home country of Sri Lanka to serve the rest of his mission there. He’s a really awesome guy, so I hope to meet him again someday.

On Wednesday, we got invited to a birthday party in Santo Domingo. One sister in our branch threw the party and we got to eat loads of Filipino food.

On Thursday, the power went out right in the middle of washing my clothes, so we got a rather late start. But we were able to commit an 82 year old less active to come to General Conference! It’ll be our job to help him get there, but I’m excited for him to make it back.

On Saturday, we tried to visit fifteen different houses to follow-up our previous visits, but it was all for naught. No one was home. We were still able to do some street finding and explain to a group of maingay Ilokanos what our job was as missionaries.

And that was it for this week! Mahal ko po kayong lahat!
