Week 28 - Four Times Seven is Twenty Eight

Kumusta kayong lahat? This is Elder Tripp, back at it again with a weekly email.

Sa una, Elder Witt and I went back to Baluarte and paid a small fortune ($5) to be allowed to take pictures with the tiger. It was pretty cool to be able to actually touch the tiger and stuff.

At the end, there’s a picture of a delicious Filipino delicacy. It is pig’s blood inside of pig intestine. It was very delicious.

We continue to constantly meet new people in Magsingal. We met an old lady who the very first time we met her, she gave us a bunch of free stuff from her tindahan. She doesn’t get out a lot, because she suffered two strokes, but she still gave us stuff without even really knowing who we are. There are so many people here who give freely of what they have, even after only just meeting us.

On Saturday, we held a ministering activity in Magsingal. We went with the branch president to several less actives, while we let the sisters visit a few of the people we knew in Centro. Unfortunately, I wrote down the address of a member who has sort of left of the church for his own crazy beliefs. And they went and visited him. I said I was sorry afterwards, but they were very confused by him. All in all, the activity felt successful.

I wish all the best for you and yours.
