Friends and family,
Pictures this week.
Featuring: Me with my district, before transfers;

Me on exchanges with Elder Nagarthnam in Vigan;

Me on exchanges with Elder Clark-e, the perfect(ish) Zone Leader in Sinait

My training is over now, so now I’m just a regular missionary. Magsingal is still much the same. All of our momentum is building towards possibly having a couple baptisms this month and many more before the end of this cycle (March 3).
A new restaurant opened in Magsingal. Their premier offering is a Mango Shake that is “on point” daw. I have yet to try it.
It looks like I’ll be in Magsingal for a couple more cycles at this point.
We went to a huge (70+ people) birthday party for two little kids (8 and 3, yata). They had a clown, a magician, and videoke.
I’ll report back next week on how my district and zone look after transfers are all over.
N.B. on “transfers”: Every six weeks, a missionary has the possibility of getting moved to a different area of the mission, with a new companion. Transfers are very exciting and terrifying, because you love the people, but you also sometimes become less effective the longer you stay in a single area.
I hope all is well for all of you, whether may pasok or wala, whether maraming pagsubok or kaunti lang, and whether malusog or may-sakit.
Mahal na mahal ko po kayo,
Elder Tripp
