Week 15

Mga kaibigan ko at pamilya ko,

Maligayang Pasko from Elder Tripp here in the Philippines. I hope you receive whatever gift you need or want the most, and that you share the greatest gift, the light of Christ, with all you meet.

No pictures this week, because I didn’t take any. Sorry to everyone. More next week, for sure.

The most significant happenings this week were the branch Christmas party and our Light the World event.

On Friday the branch had its Christmas party. We invited whoever we could, and then rented a jypnee to take a bunch of investigators. We ended up taking eight kids and one adult in our jyp, which was pretty weird, to be sure.

On Saturday, we held our Light the World event. We set up in front of the municipal hall here in Magsingal and then had a photo booth for taking pictures and a banner for people to write there ideas for lighting the world. The turn out was okay, and we got to meet a bunch of new people. I hope this brings us future success.

Unfortunately, Saturday morning I got sick and have been sick since. Hopefully I get better, given the volley of drugs and medicine I’ve been taking.

I hope all of you have a great Christmas.

Mahal na mahal ko po kayo,

Elder Tripp

Merry Christmas!

We got to have a video call with Elder Tripp on the evening of Christmas Eve (Christmas Day for him) and it was wonderful to see his face and hear his voice.
