Nanay,
I have received a good many letters since my last email, and I am happy that you guys care about me so much.
The other missionaries in my district have spoken at length about the capability of calling my parents from the airport. Many of them have burner phones, so hopefully I will be able to use one of theirs. Else, I will probably just try to borrow someone’s phone.
The weeks for me have not been very fast, but they do blend together in my mind now. Apparently, there’s a saying that at the MTC, “the days feel like weeks, and the weeks feel like days,” which I feel like I really understand at this point.
This Wednesday I got to host for a couple new missionaries, and it was a pretty crazy experience. Now my district has been doubly successful in the random selection process, once for hosting and once for the workshop. (Did I tell you about that?)
Here are some pictures from the MTC. Most aren’t mine, and one is just a better version of the one I sent a couple of weeks ago.
I know your on the Facebook group, so I hope you’ve seen my teacher’s video of us singing. It’s pretty crazy the amount of good singers in our district. Last night, we went and sang for my teacher’s sister, who just got here to the MTC 10 days ago, which was pretty fun.
I’ve gotten sick since Sunday, and it’s been a tad rough, pero I got to leave the MTC to go get some drugs, so good days all around.
Thanks for all the help and support you’ve given me.

*note from mom: The video was not posted online, but he did end up sending it to me when I asked for it. They are singing “Nearer My God to Thee” in Tagalog.
